How to Disable Automatic Data Type Detection In Power BI  1. Open Power BI. 2. Select File in the top left corner.  3. Select Options and settings in the left and hand side.  4. Select Options . 5. From the Window popped, Under Global in the left side Select           Data Load " Never detect column types and headers for                           unstructured sources ".  6.  Then from under  Current File  in the left side Select  Data Load   "      Under Type Detection Untick     " D etect column types and                     headers for unstructured sources " (As shown in the Picture).  7. Click "Ok"
